" Amazing Mexican food right in Ankeny! I’m picky when it comes to authenticity, but this place has got it down. Their salsa is fresh, with just the right kick, and the carnitas were excellent. I brought my family here, and they enjoyed everything as well. I loved that they serve everything hot and fresh. Not too many Mexican places do that, where you can taste the love they put into the food! If you haven’t been to Hernandez, you are definitely missing out.
