" At Cannon, I saw so much potential from the reviews, but the execution didn’t quite match the hype. The setting was lovely and enjoyable – perfect for conversations. However, my duck fried rice was surprisingly dry, and the flavors didn’t pop as much as I hoped. Portions were adequate for sharing but left me wanting more from my usual Chinese dining experiences. I could see this being a great spot if they refine their recipes a bit more. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had high hopes for Cannon and was greeted warmly upon entering! The decor is enjoyable and their drink selection is cleverly themed. However, I found the food to be quite average. While some dishes had nice flavors, I felt they didn’t stand out as much as anticipated. Portions felt small, especially for the price tag. The service was attentive, but if you’re looking for robust flavors, that’s where they fell short. I might return for drinks but will rethink food options. " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently tried Cannon, and I was thrilled by the reception! The ambiance is beautiful, combining modern elegance with warm coziness. The scallion pancakes were unreal - so delicious and fun to share! However, I felt the numbing flavors of some dishes didn't center on authenticity but rather on experimentation. The portions were reasonable, just the right size for sharing amongst our group of friends. Overall, a wonderful dining spot that I would recommend. " (*Curated Review*)
" I can't say enough about how lovely my evening was at Cannon Chinese Kitchen. We visited on a Saturday night, and it was quite busy, which is a good sign. The team there were so willing to help and attentive to our needs. The variety on the menu was impressive, and every dish that came out looked and tasted fantastic. The highlight was definitely the Heritage Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls; they were a taste sensation! I would have liked larger portions because I could have eaten more, but it was definitely worth every penny spent! I'll be bringing friends next time! " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently had lunch at Cannon, and it was such a wonderful experience! Everything from the server's friendliness to the quality of the food was top-notch. I had the Char Siu Fried Rice and the scallion pancakes – both were delightful! It was nice to see a focus on more authentic dishes rather than just generic Chinese takeout. The atmosphere was cozy and laid-back. Can't wait to try out more from their menu on my next visit! " (*Curated Review*)
" A place to laugh and enjoy good food! The chic ambiance of Cannon is warm and inviting. I loved the scallion pancakes, they're crispy and flavorful. The staff was informative about the dishes and made superb recommendations. If you're looking for a fusion of tradition with a modern twist, this is the place. Each small plate was worth sharing and I left satisfied but not full. Definitely coming back! " (*Curated Review*)
" Had a chance to eat at Cannon recently, and it was quite a lovely spot! The service was friendly and accommodating. I was pleased with the variety of authentic dishes and will say the scallion pancake was stellar! Still, the egg drop soup tasted a tad off balance, which was disappointing. If you adore small plate dining and sharing, this would be a great choice. Just be mindful of portion sizes; you might want to order more than you think! " (*Curated Review*)
