" Not the best experience I hoped for. The service was slow and it seemed they were overwhelmed with the weekend rush. When my food finally arrived, it was just average. The flavor was missing from the tacos, despite looking good. I may give them another chance, but not for a while. " (*Curated Review*)
" Not impressed. I expected fantastic food based on reviews, but my carne asada burrito was bland and had little seasoning. The seating is very limited, so plan on taking your food to go. The service was decent, but unfortunately, I probably won't return. I suggest they work on flavor more. " (*Curated Review*)
" I’ve been to El Potosi twice now, and I am convinced this is the best Mexican food in Chicago. The burrito I had was enormous, and the meat was grilled perfectly. I love the authenticity of the flavors. Also, I appreciate the effort they put into customer service; each time I've been greeted with a smile. It’s a bit cramped but very homey at the same time. Highly recommend! " (*Curated Review*)
" I stumbled upon El Potosi after a long afternoon at the park and I’m so glad I did! It's a cozy little place with a charming outdoor patio. I ordered the beef tacos, and they were absolutely delicious! The seasoning was on point, and I will be coming back for their homemade horchata too. The lady running it is super sweet and makes you feel special. Highly recommend! " (*Curated Review*)
" El Potosi is like stepping into a friend's kitchen! The food is fantastic—especially the tacos! I felt like I was eating at a family gathering. The family that runs it are kind and welcoming. It's a very small place, so sometimes you might have to wait a little, but it's worth it! Don't forget to bring cash, it's definitely worth every penny. " (*Curated Review*)
" This little restaurant is hands-down the best taco place I've found in years! The tacos were fresh and had a home-cooked feel to them. I can't wait to go back and try their other items. It’s cash only, but honestly, that just adds to its charm. " (*Curated Review*)
" What delights me about El Potosi is the authenticity of the food. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and they were so tender and flavorful. The ambiance is laid-back and there’s a homey vibe that’s hard to come by. The only downside for me is that it's cash only, but trust me, it is worth it! Even my kids loved the food, which says a lot. " (*Curated Review*)
