" I had a great time at Kintaro last weekend! Despite a long wait for our table due to a busy night, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Once seated, we enjoyed a selection of their grilled skewers which were smoking hot and flavorful. The beef skewer was juicy and well-seasoned. I also tried their ramen for the first time and found it to be very comforting. The only downside was that the ambiance was a bit noisy, making it hard to have a conversation at times. Nonetheless, I will definitely return for the food! " (*Curated Review*)
" I visited Kintaro on a busy Friday night, and I was blown away by the atmosphere! The decor felt authentically Japanese, and the dim lighting added to the cozy vibe. The yakitori skewers were amazing—perfectly grilled with just the right amount of smokiness. I also enjoyed the spicy salmon roll; it was fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive, but it did take a little while to get seated, so I recommend making a reservation. Overall, I had a fantastic time and I can see myself coming back here often. " Kintaro has been my dinner choice several times, and each visit has been enjoyable. I love the ambiance, the decor is charming, capturing that izakaya feel perfectly. The skewers are definitely a highlight here, they're charred and juicy! During my latest visit, I had the kimchi yaki soba, which was impressive in terms of flavor and spice level. Overall, I will keep coming back for the experience and delightful picks from the menu! " (*Curated Review*)
" Kintaro Izakaya is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the city! The food is spectacular, and I always look forward to their signature dishes. The spicy salmon roll is a must-try—very fresh and flavorful. My friends loved the kimchi udon as well. The overall experience is heightened by the fun atmosphere and responsive wait staff. The only downside is that it can get overcrowded at times, so I suggest booking a reservation in advance! Still, I'll definitely be back for more. " (*Curated Review*)
" My visit to Kintaro was a delightful experience! The ambiance had a genuine izakaya appeal, and every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor. I'd say the star was the tuna tataki; it was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The service was prompt with staff being attentive to our needs. However, we noticed that some plates were rather small for the price. Overall, a solid outing with great food and atmosphere! " (*Curated Review*)
" Kintaro Izakaya is one of my go-to spots in the city. The food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is vibrant. I love their variety of drinks, especially their sake selection. You can't go wrong with the spider roll—it's consistently one of the best I've had! However, they do have a seating time limit which can feel rushed when you're trying to enjoy a meal with friends. Still, I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking quality Japanese food in a lively environment. " (*Curated Review*)
" I'm so glad I finally decided to visit Kintaro! The atmosphere is fantastic—warm lighting, beautiful woodwork, and a hint of Japanese culture in the decor. I particularly enjoyed the yakitori skewers, which were cooked to perfection. A highlight was definitely their assorted sushi platter, beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. The portion sizes could be a bit bigger considering the price, but the quality was exceptional. We had a wonderful time dining there and look forward to returning soon! " (*Curated Review*)
