" Yamato is my go-to place whenever I crave hibachi! Although it’s not the most genuine Japanese restaurant, they’ve got a few items that I can’t resist. The shrimp tempura is crispy and delightful, perfect for dipping in the sauce! The hibachi itself comes with great portions and is well-seasoned. " I was excited to try Yamato after hearing so many rave reviews from friends. However, my visit was quite underwhelming. The sushi offered was perhaps one of the worst I've had. The rolls were small and not very fresh. I also tried the salmon sashimi, which was grainy and definitely not what I'd expect. The ambiance was nice but didn't make up for the food quality.
