" I have been a regular at Origlio's for over five years, and I can confidently say that the food has ranged from good to average depending on what you order. I have always enjoyed their fried fish dinners, which are by far the star of the menu! But I have to agree with others that their Italian dishes are a gamble; the variations in quality are large. The service has always been friendly, which is great. But I think having a credit card option would enhance our dining experience tremendously. Overall, it's worthwhile to keep in mind what you order and to make sure you request the specials for your best chance at a great meal. " (*Curated Review*)
" Our family decided to try Origlio's after hearing mixed reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant has a cozy local charm, and the decor takes you back in time. While some of our dishes were average—like the spaghetti and meatballs—the fish fry was a real hit and stole the show with its crispy texture and flavor. The service was lively, and the staff made us feel at home, checking in on us frequently. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. I would say it's worth a visit if you're in the area, and definitely try the fish! " (*Curated Review*)
" I decided to gather my family for a dinner at Origlio's after hearing some great things about their fish specials. Unfortunately, what I anticipated to be a family outing quickly turned into a disappointment. We ordered an antipasto platter to share, only to find several of the items tasted off and not fresh. My partner's eggplant parmesan was reportedly good, but the other dishes were a mixed bag. I, for one, found my lasagna barely passable; it was more like poorly assembled noodles than an authentic dish. The only highlight was the service, which I must commend as very attentive. They provided a refreshingly positive contrast to our experience with the food itself. " (*Curated Review*)
" I was invited to attend a family gathering at Origlio's and was excited to get some authentic Italian food. While I was charmed by the cozy and homey atmosphere, the food did unfortunately disappoint me. I ordered the chicken parm and felt like I was served frozen tenders with some cheese on top with no seasoning at all. The service was friendly and attentive, which has been my highlight from the visit, but if the food doesn't improve, I fear I won't be returning. " (*Curated Review*)
" After hearing from a friend about how fantastic the fried fish is at Origlio's, I had to visit myself. What I found was a charming atmosphere and a very polite staff. The fish did not disappoint—it was flaky, crispy, and seasoned just right. I tried to branch out and order the pasta special, but that was where I lost some faith as it did not hold up to the fried offerings. My partner, though, would wholeheartedly recommend the fried ravioli! Definitely coming back for more of that and their fish fry! " (*Curated Review*)
" If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience, unfortunately, you may not find it at Origlio's. I walked in expecting a cozy, welcoming environment which was present and nice enough, but as soon as I ordered the supposed homemade lasagna, I was met with a lukewarm dish that seriously lacked any flavor or freshness. I felt as if I was eating a cheap imitation of real lasagna. Although the wait staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs, I can't say that I would recommend this place based on the food alone. It was genuinely disappointing given the reviews I read prior to visiting, and it makes me wish I had chosen a different spot. " (*Curated Review*)
" If you are willing to take a chance at Origlio's, I recommend checking what your fellow diners are ordering. I had a great experience with their fried ravioli and fish fry, which was impeccable! The service was top-notch, and our server provided genuine recommendations for what to eat. However, I witnessed a few folks unhappy with their chicken parm dishes, as they appeared unappetizing and small in size. I must stress how nice the staff was and the atmosphere was charming. I likely will return, but I’ll be more choosy about the specific dishes I order next time. " (*Curated Review*)
