" visited this restaurant based on several recommendations and I can say I was somewhat let down. The ambiance is nice and definitely family-friendly, but I found the food to be a tad bland for an Italian restaurant. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, and while it was creamy, it lacked richness. " Last night we celebrated my sister's birthday at Cafe Colarusso and had an absolutely delightful meal. From the warm welcome to the tantalizing dishes, everything was impeccable. We started with the meatballs which were fabulous – flavorful and a perfect texture. For my main course, I had the penne vodka which was creamy and divine! We opted for dessert too—the tiramisu was light and not overly sweet, which is exactly how I like it. The atmosphere was festive, and even though they were busy, our server was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend for special occasions or just a great night out. " I've been coming to Cafe Colarusso since I was a child, and it feels like home every time I walk through the door. Their homemade sauces are to die for everything is prepared with care, and the flavors are just incredible. Recently, I tried their new chicken parmesan special and it was one of the best I've ever had! Beyond the food, the atmosphere is lively and warm, filled with laughter and conversation.
