" My visit to Dong Kee was phenomenal; the food was spectacular! I can't say enough about the eel clay pot which was rich, warming, and incredibly satisfying. However, the wait times were frustrating, even with a reservation. The atmosphere was lively, but I wish it were quieter so we could enjoy the food without straining to talk. " During my last visit to Dong Kee, I noticed a significant improvement in their eel claypot rice! It was fresh, hot, and so flavorful. Their service was decent; however, I would recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine here after 6 PM because it gets packed fast. " Visiting Dong Kee is always an adventure! The entire dining experience is lively. I've ordered several dishes over my visits, including their famous sweet and sour pork and fried rice. While the sweet and sour pork was decent, it felt more like a Westernized version, which was surprising. The service can be hit or miss depending on who’s on shift.
