" Alamo Molino provides a no-frills yet delightful dining experience! The emphasis is clearly on the food, which speaks for itself. I ordered the barbacoa and it was fantastic, not overly greasy, and very flavorful. Their handmade tortillas made the meal complete. Only complaint: their hours aren't super late, so plan accordingly if you're coming by. But I will absolutely be back. " (*Curated Review*)
" This place is a disaster. The last time I visited, I ordered menudo and it was watery and bland. The barbacoa was no better; dry and lacking spices. I'm really disappointed as I had high hopes after hearing good reviews. The staff was nice but that couldn't make up for the food quality. I won't be back. " (*Curated Review*)
" If you're after authentic Tex-Mex, make sure you swing by Alamo Molino. I had their menudo and it was packed with flavor but very comforting. The barbacoa tacos are on another level – delicious and served with fresh corn tortillas. The friendliness of the staff adds a great touch. Overall, a highly recommended spot to grab some great eats. " Not impressed. I stopped by Alamo Molino after hearing great things, but my experience was disappointing. The barbacoa was dry and lacked flavor. Even the tamales seemed off. It was strange because my friend raved about them. Service was okay, but I had expected more for the price paid. I think I might have just caught them on a bad day, but I'm hesitant to return. " I was surprised by how good Alamo Molino was! The barbacoa was rich in flavor, and the tamales were made with just the right amount of masa. The staff was friendly, and they even offered to help me with my order. I think this will become my Saturday lunch spot for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" Came here after hearing so much hype, and I have to admit, it lived up to the expectations! The barbacoa was incredible – tender, juicy, and full of flavor! The tortillas were fresh and warm. I also appreciate how there are no long waits. Highly recommend trying their menudo as well! " (*Curated Review*)
" I wanted to share my experience because Alamo Molino has such a cultural vibe! My family and I ordered the Henry Special, and it was more than enough for the four of us. It included a pound of barbacoa, a dozen tamales, and plenty of tortillas. Everything was fresh and authentic. The only issue was the seating; it’s really just a grab-and-go place, which is not what we expected. However, the staff was very friendly and explained the menu well. We will definitely be returning!
