" I just visited El Rinconcito de la Michoacana after hearing rave reviews from friends, and I needed to see if it lived up to the hype! I was delighted to find a bustling, inviting environment with friendly employees. Celebrating the diversity of Mexican snacks is clear here - I hoarded a few ice creams to try! My favorite was the caramel drizzle on the churros, but the ice cream won my heart. Excited to go back soon! Posting Time: 2024-03-08 14:00:56 " (*Curated Review*)
" I've always been on the lookout for a great place to satisfy my cravings for authentic Mexican snacks, and I must say, El Rinconcito de la Michoacana did not disappoint! From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff who genuinely seemed happy to assist. I ordered the famed fresas con crema and a mangoneada. The fresas con crema was a delightful mix of fresh strawberries and creamy goodness, though I felt it could’ve been a tad sweeter. The mangoneada was fresh and bursting with flavor. The only downside was the slight waiting time; however, I appreciate when food is prepared with care over speed. Overall, I’m already planning my next visit and wholeheartedly recommend this gem if you're in the area. It’s worth the trip! Posting Time: 2024-03-01 14:30:22 " (*Curated Review*)
" I came here on a Saturday afternoon after hearing friends rave about their ice cream. Honestly, my experience was a mixed bag. The service was friendly and welcoming; I truly appreciated their attentiveness! However, the ice cream I ordered, which was supposed to be a special flavor of the week, was a bit underwhelming. It tasted more like it came from a commercial brand rather than homemade. Additionally, the seating area was somewhat crowded, and it was a bit hot inside. But despite these issues, I can see the potential in this place. With some tweaks in the food offerings and maybe better ventilation, it could become a go-to spot for casual hangouts. I might give it another chance! Posting Time: 2024-02-10 17:15:43 " (*Curated Review*)
" I frequently visit El Rinconcito de la Michoacana and love their variety of snacks. The only issue I've ever faced is the inconsistent portion size. A few times I’ve come, the quesadilla felt underwhelming for the price. But the mangoneada is consistently stellar! I guess it's entertaining to see how they care about their customers. All in all, I enjoy my visits and will continue to return! Posting Time: 2024-02-21 16:13:45 " (*Curated Review*)
" I’m not one to write reviews but my experience at El Rinconcito de la Michoacana urged me to share. I ordered the torta de pierna, hoping to relish a hearty meal. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations at all. Although the sandwich had all the right ingredients, the flavors were bland, and the overall execution felt lacking. The service was passable, but it seemed like the staff was overwhelmed because they took quite some time to address our table. I just wish they could put a little more love into their cooking to bring out the flavors. It’s sad because I had high hopes based on previous reviews. I may return, but it will be for the ice cream only. Posting Time: 2024-02-15 19:03:05 " (*Curated Review*)
" El Rinconcito de la Michoacana is a gem! I ordered the mango raspado, and it was heavenly. The flavors were rich, and the texture was perfect. The staff was amazing, greeting everyone with a smile and creating a friendly ambiance. I appreciated how clean the place was and that it had plenty of cozy seating. I recommend bringing friends or family to enjoy this delightful spot. Clearly, they are dedicated to providing quality and authentic Mexican treats. " I stopped by El Rinconcito de la Michoacana after catching a movie nearby, looking for a quick snack. I ordered a couple of paletas and an icee. While the flavors were nice, the icee felt too sugary and didn’t have the authentic taste I was after. The atmosphere was lively, but I noticed a couple of staff members struggling to keep up with orders during peak hours. That said, I might consider revisiting for another shot.
