" Had a wonderful dinner at Chubby's with the family! The service was excellent, always checking on us and making sure our drinks were filled. " Chubby's Mexican Restaurant is a delightful surprise in Salt Lake City! I was excited to try their famous Pozole after hearing so much about it. Upon arriving, I noticed the cozy setup and friendly atmosphere. The service was prompt, and our server was very helpful. The Pozole lived up to the hype; it was rich and flavorful, and definitely made from scratch. However, my partner ordered the smothered burrito and found it lacking compared to the Pozole. We both agreed that the chips were amazing and the complimentary salsa was a nice touch, even if it wasn’t our favorite. I appreciate that they’re involved with the local community, sponsoring school sports teams, as mentioned in some reviews. This restaurant truly represents the heart of what makes a local eatery special. I'd recommend visiting for sure, especially for their soups and seasonal dishes. Can’t wait to return! I also loved their mole sauce on the enchiladas; seriously, it was life-changing! Our server was fantastic, always checking in, ensuring our drinks were full.
