" Having tried Pez Cantina multiple times, I can confidently say it’s one of my favorites in LA. The atmosphere is always upbeat, especially on weekends. I tried the molecajete, and it was to die for! The flavors were incredibly rich. If there’s any downside, it could be the price, as some items may hit the wallet a bit hard, but the quality justifies it. I've brought friends here who all rave about the food. " (*Curated Review*)
" My lunch visit did not go as expected. The restaurant had a nice vibe, and the location is hard to beat! Unfortunately, the chicken tacos were pretty average, lacking the zesty flavors I anticipate in good Mexican cuisine. The service was fine but could have been faster, especially during the lunch rush. I might consider returning for drinks, but not so much for lunch again. " (*Curated Review*)
" Pez Cantina offers a fantastic blend of flavors, but I found my experience a bit underwhelming. The guacamole was delightful and truly stood out, but the tacos lacked a bit of seasoning. While the staff was friendly, they seemed a bit overwhelmed during a busy evening. Overall, a decent experience, just with room for improvement! " (*Curated Review*)
" Although the food was tasty, I felt Pez Cantina focused too much on style over substance. There were beautifully plated dishes, and while they looked great, the flavors were slightly lacking. The outdoor area was pleasant and the waitstaff were nice, but for the price, I expected more south-of-the-border authenticity and heart. Not sure if I would rush back. " (*Curated Review*)
" Had a delightful dinner at Pez Cantina last night with my family. The patio setup was beautiful, and the food truly brought the flavors of Mexico right to our table. I ordered a vegan dish—cauliflower tacos—and they were surprisingly flavorful! Service was decent, although a little bit slow as the restaurant was busy. Still, the ambiance made it a pleasant outing. " (*Curated Review*)
" Pez Cantina is a breath of fresh air in downtown LA! The melodies of the live DJ and the low lighting added to the thoroughly enjoyable experience. I loved the fish tacos and the atmosphere felt unmistakably inviting. The staff were courteous and very friendly. Definitely a place you'll want to spend your happy hours! " (*Curated Review*)
" Pez Cantina has become one of our favorite spots! The moment we walked in, we were enfolded in a lively atmosphere that felt festive. However, while we enjoyed the flavors, I felt that the dishes don’t have as much depth or complexity as some other Mexican spots. Our server was attentive and truly polite, making our evening pleasant even with the minor critiques. Definitely worth trying! " (*Curated Review*)
