Kalaveras is celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and authentic Mexican dishes, which many patrons rave about. The ceviche and mole enchiladas are standout items that reflect the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. However, service can be hit or miss, with some expressions of inconsistency in staff attention, especially during busy times.

" First of all, the decor is lovely, and truly gives off a Mexican vibe. Unfortunately, my food did not meet my expectations. I had the molcajete, which was not prepared traditionally and tasted off. It was still edible, but not deserving of the hype I had heard. I felt the service was average too; the staff wasn’t very engaged. Not sure if I would return unless I heard of improvements. " Kalaveras is a fun spot for a night out! I loved their happy hour. The nachos were a great appetizer, and the portion sizes were generous. The only downside was it got quite crowded which meant slower service. Still, I will definitely return! " (*Curated Review*)
" Came for Taco Tuesday with some friends and had a great time! The tacos were delicious and reasonably priced, and the vibe was lively. We also enjoyed some fantastic mezcal cocktails which were a highlight. My only complaint was that the place was quite noisy, making it hard to hear each other at our table. Nevertheless, we're planning to return next week. Highly recommend the chicharron tacos too! " (*Curated Review*)
" Came in for brunch last Sunday, and was pleasantly surprised! The buffet offered a good range of options, but I think the regular menu would have been a better choice. The flavors were good, but not as robust as I expected. The mimosas were crowd-pleasers, though. Overall, I enjoyed my time here, but I feel like they missed the mark on a couple of dishes. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. " (*Curated Review*)
" The burrito I had was out of this world! Fresh ingredients, bursting with flavors. Everything here is made to order, so you can taste the care that goes into it. The staff was attentive and friendly, making it a wonderful experience. I will be coming back again soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" I've been to Kalaveras twice, and both times the food was wonderful. I loved their fish tacos which were fresh and flavorful. However, my last visit had some service hiccups. It took forever for our drinks to arrive, even though the place wasn't too busy. Overall, the food definitely makes it worth coming back, but I hope they can sort out their service. " This is the place to be! The happy hour specials are unbeatable, especially for tacos. I couldn't believe how good the enchiladas were! They were served fresh and made me feel like I was eating traditional home-cooked Mexican food. The waitstaff was helpful and recommended their spicy mango salsa, which was fantastic! I will definitely be back for more. " (*Curated Review*)
