" I recently tried the pad thai and it was not at all what I expected! It was more of a stir fry than a traditional pad thai - definitely not the flat rice noodles I was looking for. The flavors were off, too, with just a hint of sweetness instead of the complex taste I expected. The server was friendly, but overall I was disappointed and wouldn't recommend their pad thai. " Red Chili Leaf is a unique gem in Spruce Grove. Their flavors are surprisingly rich, especially in their coconut soup! " Red Chili Leaf is always a go-to for my family whenever we're in the mood for Vietnamese food. Their curry dishes and the green onion cakes are a must-try! However, over the years, I've noticed that the portions seem to be shrinking, which is disheartening. While the flavors remain consistent, it would be nice to have more on the plate for the price. " This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend and I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. On my visit, I enjoyed the environment and the friendly staff. " Red Chili Leaf has always been my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town! Their salad rolls are simply the best! I must confess though, my last visit was slightly disappointing due to the small portion of pho I received, which was unexpected. The flavors were still on point, and their staff are always welcoming, but I feel like I left a bit hungry. I hope they can be more consistent with their meal sizes in the future! " I tried Red Chili Leaf a few weeks ago and was immediately taken by the friendly service. My order of three colored vermicelli was good, but the quantity seemed lacking. I ended up still feeling hungry. There were great flavors, though, and I appreciated how well they cook their rice. I’m not sure if I’d rush back but might give them another chance on a busier day. " Red Chili Leaf has some of the freshest spring rolls around! They are a family favorite whenever we dine in. On the flip side, I've experienced mixed results with noodle bowls; the portions seem inconsistent. Once, I had a filling bowl, but on another visit, it felt like a sad appetizer. It's frustrating when you pay the same amount for what feels like vastly different experiences. I love the flavors and ambiance but wish they'd standardize their portions.
