PAI Uptown offers a vibrant dining experience with a strong emphasis on authenticity in its Northern Thai cuisine. Diners frequently praise the fresh and flavorful dishes, particularly the Pad Thai and Khao Soi, while some mention the dining atmosphere as lively yet occasionally noisy. Though the service is generally appreciated, some guests note inconsistencies, particularly during busy hours. Overall, it remains a popular choice for authentic Thai food in Toronto.

" My friends and I made a reservation for a Saturday night, and I’m glad we did because the place was packed. The energy was fantastic! We started with a shareable platter which included some excellent fried items. I ordered the Khao Soi which was just what I craved—a rich and spiced coconut curry with tender chicken. My friends raved about their choices too. Service was somewhat slow as it got busier towards our main course, but the staff were very friendly. The dessert, a mango coconut mousse, was divine. I would definitely recommend PAI Uptown to anyone looking for a fun dinner spot with great flavors. " (*Curated Review*)
" Having tried several Thai restaurants, I had high expectations for PAI Uptown. The restaurant is visually stunning and provides a cozy yet chic feel. I ordered the Green Curry and my partner opted for the special Pad Thai. While the flavors in the curry were bold, I felt the dish lacked a bit of protein. The Pad Thai, on the other hand, was exceptional; the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the flavors melded beautifully together. Service was decent but could have been faster. The prices are on the higher side, but you get what you pay for in quality food and atmosphere. Overall, I would recommend PAI but with some caution regarding portion sizes. " (*Curated Review*)
" Had dinner at PAI Uptown with some friends the other night, and I'm already eager to return! The food was truly delicious—I especially loved the Massaman Curry; the blend of spices was fantastic. However, we did experience a longer than expected wait for our food, which was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, great for a night out. Overall, worth visiting for the flavors! " (*Curated Review*)
" Unfortunately, my experience at PAI Uptown didn't quite meet my expectations based on prior reviews. While the atmosphere was lively, the Pad Thai I ordered was rather disappointing; I expected a complex flavor profile but found it bland. Service was also inconsistent—friendly staff, but we waited too long for our food. I might give it another chance, but I left feeling underwhelmed. " (*Curated Review*)
" I was really looking forward to trying PAI based on all the positive reviews, and for the most part, it lived up to the hype. The food was flavorful, especially the Khao Soi, which was rich and inviting. The service, however, left something to be desired; we had to wait longer than we expected for our drinks. Overall, a solid visit and I would be keen to return given its reputation for great Thai food. " (*Curated Review*)
" Having tried various Thai restaurants over the years, I can say PAI Uptown is up there! I had the signature Pad Thai and it was delicious; the flavors were true to authentic Thai food without being overly sweet. The decor felt lively and friendly, and overall the atmosphere really made it a great dining experience. Service could be improved, as we waited a while to place our order, but our food came out fairly quickly once we did order. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food. " (*Curated Review*)
" I wasn't very familiar with Thai cuisine, but PAI Uptown made me a fan! The server was very informative and helped me choose the classic Pad Thai. The flavors were well balanced, and it truly felt authentic compared to other places I've been. The atmosphere was vibrant, but I found myself needing to raise my voice to talk during dinner, which felt a bit awkward. Overall, I had a great experience but would suggest visiting during less busy hours. " (*Curated Review*)
