" I had high hopes for China Island as I've been searching for a good Chinese restaurant since moving here. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the flavor was definitely lacking. The chicken felt overcooked. I did not return it as I felt bad doing so, but I wouldn't order it again. The service was decent, but on that day, the restaurant seemed to be understaffed, which might explain the delay in receiving my food.
