" I stumbled upon this place just a week ago, and now I can’t stop thinking about those empanadas! They are fantastic! I tried the Korean BBQ and the chicken verde. Both were flavorful and had that delightful flaky crust. Service was very prompt, and I appreciated the smile from the staff. Just one downside—the outside seating wasn’t very comfortable, leaving us to munch on our delicious food while trying to balance on benches. " I have mixed feelings about my last visit to Empanada Mama. On one hand, the chicken pot pie empanada was surprisingly good and the crust was perfectly flaky. On the other hand, my partner’s beef birria empanada was quite greasy and lacking in flavor. We also had to stand outside in the cold for quite some time, which dampened our spirits. I appreciate the effort they make in creative flavors, but I hope they can find a balance between innovation and tradition in the future. " Amazing variety of flavors at Empanada Mama! I was really impressed not just by the range but also the quality of each empanada. I ordered the Chicken with Salsa Verde and it packed a punch! It's clear why they're so popular. Only downside is it’s more of a grab-and-go concept, which isn't ideal if you want to sit and eat comfortably. " Empanada Mama exceeded my expectations! The empanadas have the perfect balance of flaky crust and flavorful filling. I indulged in the chipotle chicken and the dessert pumpkin caramel empanada and they both were heavenly! The only downside was waiting outside which got a bit chilly, but the delicious empanadas made it worth it! Next time, I’ll be sure to bring a jacket. They’re not greasy, which is a plus, and they baked instead of fried, making them feel lighter. My only wish is that they could bring back indoor seating as eating while standing is not so ideal.
