" I never imagined I would find a buffet with such a variety! There were so many dishes to sample. I was delighted to try the dim sum. Though it wasn't as authentic as I hoped, it still had good flavors. Service was quick; we received our drinks right away. The ambiance could use some improvement as it felt cluttered. I appreciate that they have a self-serve ice cream machine; that was a hit! " I recently visited Hong Kong Buffet and I was really disappointed. The food was lukewarm at best and seemed like it had been sitting for a while. The shrimp tasted off and the sweet and sour sauce was way too thick and bizarrely sweet, almost like they just added sugar to ketchup. The service was alright but not engaging at all. " I've been to many buffets and I initially thought this place would be like the rest. Upon entering, I found it mostly average. It did have some good dishes like the peanut chicken and the beef stir-fry. However, the sushi looked questionable, and the desserts were sad. Service was adequate, but I had to chase down my waitress just for water refills. It's a treasure trove for quantity, but not quality. I left feeling satisfied but not excited to return anytime soon. " Decided to celebrate my sister's birthday at Hong Kong Buffet, and I must say it was more of a letdown. We arrived excited for some Chinese food, but were met with a rather stale buffet. The crab rangoon was hard and undercooked, which was a pity since we were all craving them. The atmosphere was so cluttered with old decor, it felt as if we had stepped back in time. We did get some reasonable service; the staff was somewhat attentive, but they didn’t seem enthusiastic. I doubt we'll be returning anytime soon unless we hear they've turned things around. " Hong Kong Buffet is a mixed experience for me. The good was decent when I last went, but the bad was disheartening. My biggest gripe is that the a lot of food was cold — that’s a huge red flag for a buffet! The staff seemed overwhelmed and unapproachable. Nonetheless, I appreciate their generous portion sizes, which almost made the experience worthwhile. The decorations could use some updates to feel more inviting. " Tried the Hong Kong Buffet last night for the first time, and while it was packed, I can see why people visit.
