" Papouli's is a hidden treasure in Macon! My colleagues and I came here for lunch, and the food was divine. I ordered the chicken souvlaki and was amazed by the generous portion and the flavorful seasoning. Each bite had me wanting more! The service was quick, which was perfect for our lunch break. " Dining at Papouli's was a wonderful experience! From the first moment I walked in, the aromatic smell of Mediterranean spices took me on a culinary journey. I had the Avgolemono soup and it was simply the best I've had anywhere. The flavors were rich and the balance was just right - not too tangy and not too thick. For my main course, I tried the chicken gyro, which was tender and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. The server was excellent, providing recommendations and checking in without being intrusive. I even indulged in dessert with their version of baklava, which was sweet and flaky with the perfect portion.
