" Coming to PepeNero was a last minute decision, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! I ordered the beef tartare and it was exceptional—the flavors were intense and fresh. I've had many tartares before, but this was one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was quick and the wait staff knowledgeable. I particularly enjoyed how they let us customize our orders. " I was extremely disappointed with my visit to PepeNero. I had high expectations based on the rave reviews, but my experience was quite the opposite. The service was slow, and despite the pleasant environment, the food did not meet my standards. I ordered the lobster tail pasta, and it arrived heavy and lacking in flavor. My companion’s dish was equally underwhelming. While the ambiance was lovely, the high prices did not reflect the quality of food. I ordered the roasted cauliflower, which was an appetizer that stole the show! The homemade pasta I had for my main course was also delicious and well seasoned. The chef does a brilliant job combining flavors, and everything from the appetizers to the dessert felt crafted with love. The ambiance is chic yet warm, fostering a perfect environment for enjoying the meal. I had the fig and prosciutto salad to start, followed by the homemade ravioli. Both were exceptional. " We had a wonderful dining experience at PepeNero! The staff greeted us warmly, and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We shared the crab croquette and it was heavenly! For our mains, I opted for the seafood linguine and my partner enjoyed the pappardelle with 10-hour pork ribs. Both dishes were packed with flavor and the pasta had a delightful homemade texture. We also indulged in the tiramisu for dessert, which was the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. Highly recommend making a reservation beforehand as the place gets busy!
