" I can’t recommend Pueblo Viejo enough! This tiny gem serves some of the most authentic Salvadoran cuisine I’ve tasted. The pupusas are simply a must, stuffed with generous fillings, and nicely grilled. The environment is casual yet refined, making it a nice stop for lunch. " Having lived in El Salvador, I can honestly say the pupusas at Pueblo Viejo are the closest I've found to authentic ones outside of my home country. The textures and flavors brought me right back to my childhood. The service could be improved; it took a while for our orders to arrive, and while the staff were polite, they seemed rushed.
