" My friends and I visited Amici to celebrate a birthday, and it was a mixed bag. The ambiance felt cozy with a nice neighborhood charm. We ordered different pizzas and hors d'oeuvres. While the Margherita pizza was superb, the other pizza we ordered was overly greasy. The garlic knots were a hit, though! The service left a lot to be desired; it took a long time for our drinks to arrive, and our server didn’t check on us frequently enough. That said, the food flavors did redeem some of the experience. While the ingredients tasted fresh, the chicken was overcooked and dry. The atmosphere felt cramped, and I noticed several flies buzzing around our table. I shared my concerns with the waiter, who seemed indifferent to my feedback. Given the price point, I expected better quality and service.
