" I had heard people talk about this restaurant for years, and my first visit was unfortunately quite lackluster. The crab rangoon was hard and the filling seemed very little compared to the amount of dough. I tried their lo mein as well, which was bland at best. The atmosphere didn’t resonate with me either; it felt quite average and uninviting. Perhaps I caught them on an off day but I might be hesitant to give it another shot. The staff was very polite, which I commend though. " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently discovered Beijing Garden thanks to a friend who raved about it for years. After trying their fried rice, I can honestly say it was some of the best I've had. The flavors were spot on and complemented the shrimp and veggies perfectly. I also indulged in their teriyaki beef, which was tender and juicy. The staff are warm and treat patrons like family, which adds to the dining experience. Though there were a couple of items I would've liked to taste again, overall, I left satisfied. I can easily see myself becoming a regular here! " (*Curated Review*)
" My recent visit to Beijing Garden fell short of expectations. I initially felt drawn in by the charming decor, but unfortunately the food did not live up to it. The beef lo mein was both chewy and bland, and the sweet and sour chicken felt like it was drowning in sauce. It left a heavy feeling rather than a pleasant one. The service was friendly but unhurried, which made my experience feel even more stretched. Sad to say, but I won’t be returning anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" I walked into Beijing Garden feeling optimistic but unfortunately left quite disappointed. The honey chicken was bland, and the fried rice could have used more seasoning. It's also puzzling how some items on their menu are very different from what's usually served in Chinese restaurants. The wait staff were friendly but did not seem experienced. I believe there is potential for improvement, but I think their menu needs a rework to reflect better authenticity. " (*Curated Review*)
" This is a serious no-go for me. The orange chicken tasted off, and I’m not even sure if it was fully cooked. We ended up tossing a lot of it, which is disappointing. The staff was okay, but I could tell they were overwhelmed, which made the overall experience not worth it. I arrived with excitement, only to leave feeling frustrated. Don't recommend. " Beijing Garden is very nostalgic for me. I’ve gone every year since I was a child, and it’s a shame to see how things have changed over the years. While their fried rice still holds up, some dishes have been inconsistent in flavor. The sweet and sour sauce is often too thick and can overshadow the dish. I appreciate their commitment to friendly service, but the overall dining experience could use some elevating. The vibe remains cozy, but I wish for a more authentic feel! " (*Curated Review*)
" My family has been going to Beijing Garden for years, and it's like a home away from home. The egg rolls are magnificent, definitely a must-have. The General Tso's chicken is a family favorite; the sweet and spicy flavor combo is perfect. The dining area could use a little sprucing up, but the charm of the place really shines through with the friendly staff and the cozy vibe. Prices are pretty reasonable and the portion sizes are usually satisfactory. In a world full of fast food chains, it's comforting to have an old-school Chinese diner like this one!
