" King's Wok is a nostalgic spot for me since I lived in Brookings during college. I remember the wonderful buffet and friendly atmosphere. During my recent visit, I was sad to see that some of the food was less appealing than I remembered. The shrimp were not as fresh, and the fried rice lacked flavor. I noticed they still offer a good variety, which keeps me coming back for more. I hope they can improve the quality of some of their items, as I believe they have a real gem of a restaurant here. " This is not the place I remember from years ago! I used to love getting takeout, but on my recent visit the food was dry and unappetizing. The crab rangoon was tasteless, and they had stopped offering some of my favorite dishes. I was deeply disappointed as I had high expectations upon returning. " Wow! I had a fabulous experience at King's Wok. From the warm welcome to the wide variety of dishes, everything was superb. The flavors of the food reminded me of classic Chinese cuisine, and the service was gracious. It’s a perfect spot for family gatherings as everyone in my party found something they loved.
