" Overall, Ping's is not delivering as it used to. The service was acceptable but not exceptional, and our meals felt like they were overly fatty and lacking in seasoning. I ordered their signature pine nut chicken that I used to love, but everything was different; it was almost as if they were using an entirely new recipe. I sensed something amiss with the quality of the ingredients too. It was extremely disappointing all around. I don't think I will be patronizing this restaurant again soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" After hearing all the buzz about this restaurant, I was excited to give Ping's Garden a try. However, I left feeling disappointed and questioning how it had maintained such a loyal following. The fried rice was not only lacking in flavor but appeared greasy. My sesame chicken was bland, lacking that hint of sesame and sweetness that characterizes authentic versions. The service was adequate, though we had to wait a bit for our food which was not ideal considering how quiet it was that evening. Overall, it didn’t match my expectations or the recommendations I had received. I won’t be coming back anytime soon unless I hear of substantial improvements. " (*Curated Review*)
" The first time I tried Ping's Garden was years ago when the ambiance was warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was filled with disappointment. The place has undergone significant changes – the decor feels dated, and the menu items seem more Americanized than before. I ordered the orange chicken, expecting the familiar balance of sweet and tangy, but what I got instead was an overwhelmingly sweet dish that did not hold the original flavors I had come to enjoy. The server was pleasant, yet overwhelmed, which left us waiting longer than anticipated for our order. A sad decline from what used to be a neighborhood gem! Perhaps I just arrived on an off night, but I do not feel inclined to return anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" I reluctantly returned to Ping's Garden after a year, hoping for a comeback. I recall the dishes being delicious, but sadly everything tasted different. The flavor combinations were disappointing, with the beef and broccoli being a sad mix of overcooked vegetables and underwhelming beef. Nothing had that unique flair I once savored. To top it off, the service was not great, as it took ages to get noticed. Even though the prices have risen, the portion sizes decreased. I was really upset considering the fond memories I had. I’ll be keeping my explorations of good Chinese food elsewhere. " (*Curated Review*)
" I went to Ping's Garden for the first time last week, hoping for a taste of authentic Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately, what I encountered was far from my expectations. The sweet and sour chicken I ordered had an unappealing texture and was overwhelmingly sweet, lacking the right balance of flavors. The fried rice seemed stale, and overall the meal felt like a poor imitation of what good Chinese food should be. The service was also slow, which didn't help the experience. I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return, especially after hearing some friends share their less than favorable opinions of the place as well. " (*Curated Review*)
