" We went to Sonora Grill to celebrate a birthday and it was truly memorable. The highlight for me was definitely the fresh table-side guacamole. The server was accommodating and made great recommendations. The other dishes were good, though not consistently amazing. Some of the people in my party thought the portions were slightly smaller than expected which is why I am giving it a solid four instead of a five, but many of us felt the flavors were spot on. " I’ve been several times to Sonora Grill, and while I love the atmosphere, I can’t say the same for each dish. My last visit I ordered the chimichanga, and it wasn’t at all what I expected. It felt more like fast food than a sit-down restaurant. Most of my friends had good meals though, so it may have just been bad luck. " Eating at Sonora Grill was a feast for the senses. The fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors transport you right to Mexico. The margaritas had a wonderful zing to them, and the adrenaline of anticipating our meal made it even better. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and I loved the seasoning used!
