" My husband took me to Chemin à la Mer for our anniversary, and it was a lovely experience! We were seated right by the window, enjoying a beautiful view. While I thoroughly enjoyed the oysters and the baked feta, the ribeye steak was sadly underseasoned and somewhat bland. Given New Orleans' bold culinary scene, I expected more flavor. " I had high hopes for Chemin à la Mer, given its location and reputation. The evening was pleasant, with a view of the river that simply can't be beat. However, my steak was cold on arrival and lacked seasoning, which was disappointing. The cocktails were lovely, though, and our server did her best to remedy some of the shortcomings.
