" My friends and I decided to check out New Big Wong after hearing mixed reviews. Admittedly, the exterior looked questionable, but we ventured in nonetheless. The staff was busy and somewhat inattentive, however, the food was spot on! The sweet and sour chicken was crispy and not overly sweet, just right! Would love to visit again but hope for a slight improvement in service! " (*Curated Review*)
" Stumbled across this little gem while walking through Chinatown. The food was fantastic! Everything tasted fresh, and the servers were accommodating. I had the stir-fried noodles, and I can't express how good they were. Will be coming back! " (*Curated Review*)
" Very disappointing experience. We went to New Big Wong with high expectations based on reviews but were let down by cold food and slow service. The dish I ordered was overly salty as well. I think there’s much better options around. " (*Curated Review*)
" What a chaotic dining experience! Our party of four went during peak hours and we were promptly ignored. It took a long time to get our orders taken, and when the food finally arrived, the dumplings were cold and less than appetizing. The staff seemed overwhelmed. It's unfortunate because I've heard the food can be good. I don't think I’ll be back anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" Honestly, I had high expectations from New Big Wong after hearing it was known for authentic Chinese food. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The place felt like a run-down diner rather than a traditional Chinese restaurant. The eggplant dish I had lacked flavor and felt frozen. I don’t think I would return anytime soon. " I’ve visited New Big Wong twice; the first time was a joy, the second time was a headache. The food was fantastic the first visit but on my second visit the dishes were cold and seemed canned. Service was not consistent, and that was disappointing. " (*Curated Review*)
" The wait times for the food were ridiculous, but once the food came, it was worth it! The kung pao chicken had a great kick, and the fried rice was perfect. If only the staff were more attentive, I'd rate it much higher. Still, I’ll return for the food. " (*Curated Review*)
