" I came to Colibri based on friends’ recommendations, and I was absolutely thrilled with my visit. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by cheerful staff and a warm atmosphere. I ordered a combination of their appetizers for a taste test and was left floored by the burst of flavors in each bite! The hummingbird soup was especially unique, and I'll certainly be dreaming of it. My dinner partner had the filet mignon, which was perfectly tender and flavorful. " Our stay in San Carlos wouldn’t be complete without visiting Colibri! The decor is simply enchanting, making the ambience very welcoming. We stopped by for lunch and opted for a few different pizzas to share. Each pizza was deliciously crafted and bursting with flavor. I appreciated the focus on local ingredients, which enhanced the authenticity of my meal. The staff was pleasant; however, they seemed overwhelmed during peak hours. " Colibri is a feast for the senses! Entering the restaurant, you are welcomed by vibrant artwork…. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, truly reflecting the spirit of San Carlos! Our group shared a large variety of dishes from the menu, and I'm happy to report that each item was better than the last! The presentation was outstanding, and flavors even more incredible. " We had a mixed experience at Colibri. The venue certainly had a charming ambiance with lots of local decorations and an inviting atmosphere. The food presentation was excellent, particularly the hummus spread and wood-fired pizza. However, I found the pizza a bit bland and lacking seasoning. " There’s a reason why everyone speaks highly of Colibri! I visited with my partner, and we were seated promptly in a cozy corner. I must say, the service was very efficient, and our server was lovely. The food options are artistic and bountiful. Both of us picked from the wood-fired pizza menu and thoroughly enjoyed them—they feature an excellent chewy crust and toppings that blend together seamlessly.
