" I'm a Vietnamese cuisine lover, and I have been to plenty of authentic restaurants. Slanted Rice, however, is not hitting the mark for me. Although the place is cozy and the staff is nice, the pho didn't taste quite right. The broth seemed watered down and lacked depth. The meat was fine, but not enough herbs were used to balance the flavor. On a positive note, my friend enjoyed the garlic noodles. I'm disappointed but open to trying something different next time. The shaking beef exploded with flavor, and the banh mi was just delightful, crisp bread with a generous filling. The pho was richly flavored, perhaps one of the best I’ve had outside Vietnam. " Last Saturday, my partner and I decided to visit Slanted Rice after hearing wonderful things. Upon entering, we were greeted by a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. We shared a bowl of beef pho and the lemongrass chicken. The pho was delightful, rich in flavor, although the broth was slightly lighter than what I'm used to. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable meal.
