" I've been a regular at this El Pollo Loco, and I can confidently say it’s one of the better locations around! The chicken is consistently tender and juicy, and I love their selection of salsas. The dining area is quite spacious, making it an enjoyable place to eat in. The staff seems to genuinely care about the customers, which is refreshing. Definitely recommend trying their chargrilled chicken; it's outstanding! Although, I did notice one time that my order took longer than usual because they were short-staffed. " I’m a local and have eaten at this location for years. Unfortunately, it seems like it’s getting worse every time I go. The chicken can sometimes come out dry, and the service is incredibly slow. I’ve waited over 30 minutes on different occasions. They don’t seem to restock the salsa and other items as quickly as I'd like. I was also frustrated recently when I went there, and they had several items on the menu that they were out of—this included the most basic items like tortillas! " I have been to a lot of fast food places, and I always come back to El Pollo Loco because of the taste and quality of the food. My recent visit was excellent. I loved that the chicken was spicy and cooked to perfection. The sides were flavorful too! I also took advantage of the family meal deal, which provides great value for what you get. " I don't understand the hype. I tried their chicken, and honestly, it was extremely dry. I've been to other El Pollo Locos, and they've offered much better quality. The portions were also quite small for the price. I had high expectations and was let down significantly. " I've been to this spot a few times now and feel conflicted about it. The flavors are solid, especially the chicken. However, the wait time can be unbearable. I’ve stood in line for what felt like an eternity. The ambience is bright, and the staff is friendly, but plenty of improvements are needed. On my last visit, I asked for my side of beans, and they completely forgot about it. I had to bring it up, and it was awkward since I was trying to enjoy time with my family. " This El Pollo Loco at San Gabriel is one of my favorite fast food places! I love the charm of the atmosphere and how welcoming the staff is, especially when they remember my previous orders. Just recently, I tried their chicken tostada salad. It was delicious! They’ve also got great offers on their family meals! On my last visit, the only flaw I encountered was their salsa bar not being fully stocked; it was late in the day, and I understand that can happen.
