" I have been to Barroco several times, and it always has a fun vibe. However, during my last visit, I felt that the food quality had lowered. The chicken enchiladas were bland, and the side of rice didn't have a lot of flavor either. To be fair, the service was fantastic; our waitress was energetic and really knew her stuff. It seems they do offer some authentic dishes well, just not the ones I tried this time. It's a place I would recommend based on ambiance and service, but I might skip certain menu items. " Let me tell you about my experience at Barroco! I was excited to try the Peruvian food, and although some dishes were great, I was somewhat disappointed with others. My mixed plate had a little bit of everything but the flavors didn’t hit like they should have. The service was good, but we had to wait a while for our drinks. The ambiance felt too loud at times due to the karaoke, which wasn’t my cup of tea. I did enjoy their homemade guacamole and chips, which were fresh and delicious. I might give this place another shot, but I’ll stick to the basics next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" Visiting Barroco was an eye-opening experience! The place is lively with tons of character. Our server was friendly, but there was a wait for food. I ordered the beef stew, which was comforting but lacked depth in flavor. The highlight was definitely the chips and fresh guacamole, which came out quickly. While all in all it was a good time, I feel that to truly be called authentic, certain dishes should taste more traditional. Looking forward to see if they evolve over time! " (*Curated Review*)
" Absolutely loved the birria tacos at Barroco! They were bursting with flavor and just the right amount of spice. The atmosphere feels like a fiesta, and the staff makes you feel right at home. However, I had to wait quite a bit for my food, which was disappointing. Apart from this, everything else was enjoyable—from the drinks to the dessert. I will definitely return to sample more items on their menu! " (*Curated Review*)
" Dining at Barroco was a mixed experience for me. Initially, I was drawn in by the atmosphere, which is lively and fun. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the carne asada and found it tough and overcooked. The presentation was decent, but it lacked seasoning. On the plus side, the staff was very courteous and the drinks were decent, especially the margarita! I’d consider visiting again if I hear more positive changes about the food. " (*Curated Review*)
" What a delightful gem I found in the heart of the town! Barroco Latin Cuisine has captured my heart! The food was incredible—my taste buds danced with each bite. The Peruvian ceviche was an absolute standout, fresh and zesty. Their drink menu has equally impressive options. Service was attentive and friendly, making the experience that much more enjoyable. I'll be coming back for sure to try more of their authentic offerings! " (*Curated Review*)
" Barroco was a surprisingly delightful experience! I ordered the seasoned steak tacos, and they were unique yet somehow familiar. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, making it perfect for a vibrant dining experience. I appreciate the attentive service, as well. If you're looking for a fun restaurant focusing on Latin cuisine, this is definitely worth a visit. I'll return to explore more of their dishes and perhaps try the karaoke next time!
