" I have been to Barroco several times, and it always has a fun vibe. However, during my last visit, I felt that the food quality had lowered. The chicken enchiladas were bland, and the side of rice didn't have a lot of flavor either. To be fair, the service was fantastic; our waitress was energetic and really knew her stuff. It seems they do offer some authentic dishes well, just not the ones I tried this time. It's a place I would recommend based on ambiance and service, but I might skip certain menu items. " Let me tell you about my experience at Barroco! I was excited to try the Peruvian food, and although some dishes were great, I was somewhat disappointed with others. My mixed plate had a little bit of everything but the flavors didn’t hit like they should have. The service was good, but we had to wait a while for our drinks. The ambiance felt too loud at times due to the karaoke, which wasn’t my cup of tea. I did enjoy their homemade guacamole and chips, which were fresh and delicious.
