" After hearing plenty of chatter about Red Apple, I gave it a shot, hoping for a traditional Chinese food experience. I must say that their fried rice was a letdown; it was just yellow rice with a few veggies. However, the sweet and sour chicken was decent but on the sweeter side which could be a turnoff for some. Recently, I tried the scallion pancakes and found them to be a bit lacking in flavor compared to what I had in my travels around Asia. However, everything else, including the fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, remains top-notch, and I appreciate the consistent portion sizes. The service can be hit or miss; I've encountered friendly staff, but there have been occasions when I've felt rushed. " I just picked up dinner from Red Apple for my family, and I really can't say enough good things about it! The food was delicious, especially the chicken wings.
