" The Halal Guys has a special place in my heart as I had my first taste of halal food in their NYC food truck. I was eager to see if the quality would carry over to this SF location. While the flavors were good, the portions felt smaller than what I remembered from NYC. The service was fine, though slightly impersonal. The atmosphere is bright and clean which I appreciated, but it needs a little more character. I plan to visit again, with hopes of a better experience next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" I was taken here by a friend who swore by The Halal Guys, and I have to admit, I was blown away! The portions are enormous, and the food tastes authentic and fresh. I went for the beef and chicken combo platter, and it was packed with flavor. What made it even better was the variety of sauces available; I especially loved the spicy red sauce! The only downside was that it was a bit pricey, but the experience was worth every penny. I can't wait to come back and recommend it to others! " (*Curated Review*)
" WOW! What a find in downtown San Francisco! I stopped by The Halal Guys after a long day and I was immediately impressed by the service. The staff was friendly and quick to take my order. I went with the classic beef platter, and it was abundantly filling! Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. I also love how customizable the sauces are. The white sauce was divine! I will definitely be coming back here, especially late at night when they’re open! " (*Curated Review*)
" Having lived in NYC, I was thrilled to discover a Halal Guys in San Francisco. I eagerly ordered the beef platter and was excited to dig in. Unfortunately, it did not quite meet my expectations. The beef was flavorful but not warm enough, and the rice was bland. The service was fast, but the ambience left something to be desired—it felt rushed and slightly chaotic. I’m glad that Halal Guys is here, but I hope they can improve their cooking processes to better match the original location. " (*Curated Review*)
" I finally made it to The Halal Guys after hearing so much hype. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to my expectations. The food was okay, but it lacked the delicious punch I remember from the food trucks in NYC. The chicken was a bit dry, and I felt the portions were on the smaller side for the price. Although I appreciated the late-night hours and the cleanliness of the restaurant, it just didn’t hit the mark for me. I’m not sure if I’d go back anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
