" Went to Yummy House for the first time the other day, and I surely made a good choice! I had the beef and broccoli which were excellently cooked - tender and flavorful with a nice garlic sauce. The fried rice was fluffy and delicious! The only complaint I had was that it took a while to get our food since they were a bit busy, but the wait was not too painful thanks to the amicable staff. " I had an unusual experience at Yummy House. The first time the food really impressed me with its authentic flavor. The second time, however, was quite different; the service was slow, and the food was overwhelming. I loved the hot and sour soup on my first visit, but the second serving was overwhelmingly spicy for me. I guess consistency could be an area to improve upon. " What a delightful surprise! I was skeptical of trying another Chinese restaurant, given the myriad of mediocre ones in the area, but Yummy House blew me away. Their garlic chicken was bursting with flavor, and the creamy sauce was divine! Even the fried rice was elevated with fresh vegetables. The owners are genuinely nice people and made me feel welcome. " Our family ordered takeout from Yummy House for a Friday night dinner, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! Everything was correctly portioned, and the food was delicious; especially loved the kung pao chicken. However, we learned the hard way that it can get busy, so do expect a bit of a wait if you order during peak hours. All in all, I think we found our new favorite spot for Chinese food in Albany! " I inadvertently stumbled upon Yummy House while searching for a lunch spot, and I'm so glad I did. The friendly service and delicious food made my day.
