" Lim's Star is a great spot for casual dining. I've been here a few times, and I've mostly enjoyed my meals. The almond chicken was particularly good. However, I feel like some dishes are a bit Americanized; the flavors are not as bold as I would expect from authentic Chinese cuisine. The service, though, was top-notch. The staff are attentive and friendly, making you feel welcome. Also, the portion sizes are very generous, which makes up for some of the flavor shortcomings. " I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants and Lim's Star is definitely one of the better ones. The fried rice had that perfect texture and was not overly greasy. I particularly loved the sweet and sour chicken which was a great balance of sweet and tangy. The egg rolls were delicious; more crispy than I've had elsewhere.
