" I’ve been to New Taste of India a couple times and just can’t get over how spacious and delightful the place is. The decor gives off a laid-back vibe, making it perfect for a casual dining experience. The food was spectacular! The masalas are balanced and flavorful, certainly on the spicier side if you crave heat. I ordered the shrimp mango curry and was blown away. " My experience at New Taste of India was disappointing to say the least. I went there after hearing rave reviews, expecting authentic Indian flavors. What I got instead felt more like Americanized versions of the dishes. The paneer tikka I ordered was bland and tasted almost canned. The service was also quite slow, and it took ages for our orders to arrive. When they did, it was underwhelming. The only upside was the garlic naan which was decent. " I must say I was surprised to find such a gem! The flavors were spot-on, especially in the lamb vindaloo which had the perfect kick to it. The service was absolutely stellar; the staff checked on us regularly without being overbearing. We also enjoyed the ambiance which felt both lively and relaxing. You could tell that a lot of thought went into the decor, creating an immersive dining experience. The portions were generous as well. I left feeling very happy, and I certainly plan to return! " Having tried New Taste of India a few times, I’ve developed quite a fondness for it. Each time, I was welcomed with warm smiles and pleasant service. What I find remarkable is the portion sizes; they are incredibly generous and perfect for sharing! The butter chicken is my favorite—it has a deliciously creamy sauce and pairs perfectly with their fluffy naan. Although, I must admit I did find the spice levels to be tamed down compared to what I would expect from Indian cuisine. Nonetheless, the taste is still great. I appreciate that the staff is willing to adjust spice levels upon request, making dining here adaptable to different preferences. I will keep coming back! I rate it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
