" While I was at Purdue for a weekend trip, I decided to check out Taste of India after hearing rave reviews. I have to say, I was less impressed than expected. The food was decent, but lacked the authentic flavors I love. The biryani was a bit bland for my taste, and while the service was friendly, it was slow and inattentive at times. " My family and I had a mixed experience at Taste of India last week. We decided to try the buffet, which to our surprise, had a diverse selection. The saag paneer was a standout, flavorful and well-prepared. Yet, the service was quite slow, and we had to ask several times for refills on naan which detracted from the experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. I also loved the mango lassi—it’s a must-try! Parking isn't great, but everything else made it worth it! " What a delightful experience! From the moment I walked into Taste of India, I was greeted with warmth. The chefs here truly know how to craft authentic Indian dishes. I had the chicken tikka masala, and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had. The service was prompt—my waiter, Raj, was attentive and made excellent recommendations.
