" Visiting from out of town, I stumbled upon Mi La-Cai and what a fortunate discovery it was! The ambiance of the restaurant was charming, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I ordered the fried rice and bun cha, and I was blown away! You can tell they use quality ingredients because there is a certain depth to their dishes. The fried rice was not greasy like many places serve, but rather light and flavorful. I wish I could take this restaurant home with me. If you want authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine, this is your spot! I will be dreaming about the food here long after my trip. " (*Curated Review*)
" I love the lunch specials at Mi La-Cai. The portions are more than enough for a lunch meal, and I've never left hungry! The flavors are always spot on, especially the baos. The service is friendly too, they always greet me with a smile when I come in. The atmosphere is always vibrant and uplifting as well. This Vietnamese spot really knows how to treat their customers. Pleased to have found a favorite place! " (*Curated Review*)
" This restaurant is a gem! I visited looking for good Pho, and I wasn't disappointed. The broth was rich and aromatic. My friend had the lemongrass chicken, and we both loved how fresh everything tasted. Service was quick even during a busy lunch time, and they kept our water glasses filled. The setting is casual yet feels special enough for a date night. I will definitely be returning to try their bun bo hue next time. Highly recommended! " (*Curated Review*)
" After searching for good Vietnamese food in Salt Lake City, I found my new favorite spot! Mi La-Cai has a welcoming atmosphere and the service is impeccable. I ordered the Pho with brisket and, to my delight, it was packed with flavor. The beef was tender and the noodles cooked just right. While the char siu pork with lo mein was good, I didn’t think it matched up to the Pho. Still, I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. This place is definitely worth a visit for any Asian food lovers. " (*Curated Review*)
" If you want authentic Vietnamese food in SLC, you must visit Mi La-Cai. I was recommended the beef pho, and it was rich and delicious. Not to mention, the decor of the restaurant feels authentic too, giving me a taste of Vietnam without having to leave. I really appreciate that the staff is friendly and attentive. They made us feel like valued guests! I can't wait to come back and try more items from their extensive menu. " (*Curated Review*)
" The food may be great, but my experience was less than stellar due to the long wait times. I came in with high expectations based on recommendations and the food did get a thumbs up. My crispy noodles were good, but the service didn’t match the quality of food. The ambiance is nice for a casual dinner, but I felt rushed since we were seated close to closing time and I would have appreciated more attention. I'll give it another shot but only on a less busy night. Expect amazing food but be prepared to wait! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had a good experience overall, but there were a few culinary hits and misses. While the pho was excellent, I found the sushi to fall short on freshness. The ambiance was lovely, perfect for a casual night out. The service was decent but not as attentive as I would have liked. Although I enjoyed my main dish, I wouldn’t consider it the absolute best in Utah like others have claimed. Still worth checking out, and I’d return just for the pho. " (*Curated Review*)
