" Had dinner at Akasaka last night with my family. The sushi was amazing, hugely fresh and delicious. However, the interior is quite cramped which makes for a less-than-ideal atmosphere. I was a bit disappointed with how long it took for the food to arrive, but once it did, it was delicious. The portions are fantastic; we could hardly finish all of our sushi. " I had a wonderful lunch experience at Akasaka. I couldn’t decide between the chirashi bowl and the sashimi combo, so I went for the chirashi bowl. It was stunning and easily shared. Service was also commendable; our server made sure everything was fine throughout the meal. On the downside, the restaurant can get really crowded, which makes seating quite snug. The prices were slightly high, but when you taste the freshness of the fish, you’ll agree it’s totally justified.
