" I recently returned after many years, and while the nostalgia was high, I was a bit disappointed. The bread did not have that same fantastic flavor I remembered, and the spaghetti felt different. The staff was courteous, but I felt rushed despite it not being busy. I’m hopeful that some changes will be made as this place has potential. I’d like to see a return to its former glory, as I miss the old flavors. " (*Curated Review*)
" There’s potential in this restaurant, but it seems they have some kinks to work out. I had the spaghetti which tasted pretty average and the bread was much sweeter than I preferred. I think they could benefit from updating their menu or testing out new recipes. Service was prompt and friendly, at least! I will give them another chance, given it’s a local spot. " You know, I'm a regular here, but the last time, it felt like they were making changes that might not sit well with long-time patrons. My spaghetti wasn’t as flavorful and the garlic bread felt less fresh. I suppose change is hard, but I'm hoping they balance innovation without losing what made them beloved in the first place! " Simply put, this place is a staple of Terre Haute, and it deserves all the love! The buckets of spaghetti are iconic and have been my go-to for family dinners. The sweetness of the garlic bread complements the meal perfectly! Even though the place is small, there’s a certain charm to it. I also appreciate how they help support local! It’s great to see a business that holds its roots but also has its own flair. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had heard about the changes in the ownership and was hesitant to try it again, but I'm glad I did! The Cousin Vinny sandwich was superb—rich, flavorful, and with the right amount of sauce. The staff seemed more energetic and dedicated than before, and the restaurant felt livelier. Although the decor is still dated, the food was comforting and delicious as always. Will definitely visit again soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" My experience here was less than great. The food took a lot longer than expected, and when it arrived, it wasn't even warm. My pasta seemed bland, lacking flavor. The staff were friendly, but that unfortunately didn’t make up for the disappointing meal. I hope this place can turn it around as there’s so much potential here. " (*Curated Review*)
" Amazing experience! We had a blast! The spaghetti bucket was phenomenal, and the garlic bread was incredible! The atmosphere was like being at home, and the staff went above and beyond for us. It was the perfect lunch spot for a weekend getaway. I can't believe we didn't discover this place sooner! Highly recommend to everyone! " (*Curated Review*)
