" The other day, I had a disappointing experience at Lucky Star. I went in hoping for my favorite chicken lo mein but ended up with noodle soup and no sign of chicken. When I brought this to their attention, the server seemed dismissive, and it took a long while to rectify the situation. To make matters worse, I noticed another patron having a similar issue. The restaurant isn't particularly known for its ambiance either; it's quite generic for a takeout place. " This review is long overdue! I have been a regular customer at Lucky Star for over five years, and I can honestly say that it has its ups and downs. The crab rangoons are to die for, and the General Tso's chicken has a great balance of flavors. That said, there have been times when my meals seemed undercooked or bland. The service, however, is consistently good. Joey and his team remember my face and are genuinely happy to see me when I arrive. If you’re looking for fast service and a casual atmosphere, Lucky Star might be the spot for you, but go in with the understanding that not every meal will blow you away.
