" I had been hearing a lot about Desmond's and finally decided to give it a try. I was impressed by the split menu options between the main dining area and pub. I decided to go with the lighter fare in the pub area. The tuna tartare was quite enjoyable, whereas the mesquite grilled chicken was slightly dry. " We’ve always enjoyed Desmond's, but this time it was just average. The staff was friendly but seemed disorganized. My steak was cooked to the wrong doneness and took forever to get corrected. The manager did come by to apologize and offered a dessert on the house, which was a nice touch, but the food should be on point from the start. " I visited Desmond's for the first time last week and let me say, I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfectly suitable for a family dinner. We sampled a variety of dishes and each one was better than the last. The seafood was incredibly fresh and surprisingly well-prepared. I highly recommend the shrimp scampi; it was the highlight of my meal! Service was attentive without being intrusive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
