" Gaya Korean Tofu & Grill is a hidden gem! The owner’s passion for cooking is evident in every dish served. I had the seafood pancake, and it was divine! Each bite was crispy and flavorful, delightfully complemented by just the right amount of dipping sauce. My partner had the spicy chicken and was thrilled with the layer of flavors and perfect spice level. Just remember, it gets busy so expect a slight wait during peak times. All in all, I’d say it’s worth every bit of it! " (*Curated Review*)
" Visiting Gaya was a last-minute decision that turned out to be a fantastic one! They have a wide variety of authentic Korean dishes, and I was excited to try their pork katsu—a dish I hadn't tasted before. It was crispy and paired well with rice. The side dishes were wonderfully fresh and complemented the meal nicely. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Service could improve a tad, but I believe they were just busy that day. Still a wonderful restaurant overall! " (*Curated Review*)
" I visited Gaya last weekend and I must say the first impressions were mixed. The decor was nice, but I felt the food was lacking in excitement. The tofu stew tasted okay, though I believe it needed more seasoning. My entree was enjoyable but the sides left me wanting. Staff were friendly but appeared short-handed during this busy time, which may explain the slow service. A decent restaurant overall, but they could use a little more spice! " (*Curated Review*)
" Gaya Korean Tofu & Grill was a delightful surprise for me! I’ve been searching for quality Korean food without traveling to K-Town and this is it. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the tofu stew and spicy fried squid. Both were packed with flavor and the squid was tender and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable for dining. I must admit, the service was a bit on the slower side during peak hours, but the food definitely made it worth the wait. I’ll be back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" This was my first time at Gaya, and I must say, I was underwhelmed. The tofu soup we ordered lacked the robust flavor and depth that I expect from authentic Korean cuisine. While the atmosphere was nice, and the staff were friendly, I wish the food measured up. Maybe they were having an off day, as I have heard better reviews from friends. I may give it another shot, but I wasn't blown away. " (*Curated Review*)
" My experience at Gaya was somewhat mixed. While the staff were friendly and the atmosphere nice, the food didn’t measure up to my expectations. The tofu soup was watery compared to others I've had, lacking the flavor punch I was after. The side dishes were decent, but they could certainly elevate them. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I wouldn't rush back unless I hear significant improvements. " (*Curated Review*)
" Gaya is a gem of a restaurant that truly brings the essence of Korean cuisine to Torrance! I’m a regular here, and it’s always my go-to spot for comfort food. Their kimchi jjigae and galbi are simply unbeatable! The flavors are authentic and just like my grandmother used to make. The side dishes vary each time I come, but they’re always fresh and delicious. My experience has always been positive, and the owner is genuinely kind-hearted. I love supporting local businesses like this one. " (*Curated Review*)
