" As someone who has traveled extensively throughout Japan, I was skeptical when I heard about a Japanese food truck in Reidsville. I decided to give Okoku's a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised. The miso soup was an excellent starter, and then I had the shrimp hibachi. The shrimp were perfectly grilled, and the stir-fried rice was delicious but felt a bit Americanized in its flavor profile. The crew working there made me feel welcome and were efficient in processing orders, but don’t be surprised if you have a short wait; the food is cooked to order. Totally worth it!
