" Bavya's Indian Kitchen is an interesting spot. On some days it looks accessible and welcoming. Other days, it feels disorganized and below par. My last visit, I had the masala dosa, which was subpar in comparison to what I’ve had at other places. The batter felt old, and rather than crisp, it was soft and unappetizing. Service had been decent, so that was one positive. However, food quality has to uplift for me to return with any consistency. " (*Curated Review*)
" I visited Bavya's last week and was quite surprised at how inconsistent my experience was. Coming in, I was definitely looking for great Indian food, but the chicken tikka masala was extremely oily. The naan was burnt as well, it was rather disappointing given the potential. There was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen area; it seemed chaotic. While the staff was friendly, they looked overwhelmed with the amount of work. I would say there’s potential but they really need to figure out their processes to get it together. " (*Curated Review*)
" I’ve been trekking to different Indian spots, and Bavya's has a lot of room for improvement. I will say, some dishes reflect authentic tastes, especially a few biryanis I tried. However, my experience was marred by inconsistencies. The spice levels were all over the place: one dish was overly spicy while another lacked any flavor entirely. I was amazed at the variation! The staff was friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed. I would recommend it if you need a quick fix for Indian food cravings, but don’t expect stellar service. " (*Curated Review*)
" Although Bavya's has an inviting menu, the execution of the food was severely lacking. I tried their goat curry, which was unfortunately very oily and made it hard to enjoy. The rice that accompanied it was extremely dry and did not taste fresh. To make matters worse, the staff wasn't very attentive and I had to wait longer than expected to get my order. This experience overall left much to be desired; I wouldn’t recommend it until they step up their game in the kitchen. " (*Curated Review*)
" Bavya's Indian Kitchen seemed promising at first, but I left quite disappointed. The ambiance was casual, but it felt a bit neglected. I had the butter chicken, which lacked depth of flavor and tasted more like cream than anything else. The naan bread didn't help either, being too chewy. On top of that, the service was subpar. I felt the staff was overwhelmed and wasn't attentive to my needs, which made my dining experience less pleasant. I hope management can improve the quality of food and service soon! " My wife and I finally tried Bavya's for our date night. Expectations were low due to shaky reviews, but I wanted to be optimistic. We both ordered biryanis, which were decent at best. They arrived with no salad or raita, which was odd. The meat was tender, but I couldn't get over the oily texture. The service was decent; our waiter checked in on us a couple of times, which was nice. Overall, it’s an okay place for casual dining, but if you’re looking for a truly authentic experience, you might want to pass. " (*Curated Review*)
" I went to Bavya's Indian Kitchen for lunch and although the atmosphere seemed mid-level, the food was clearly below that. I ordered paneer butter masala, but it tasted far too sweet for my liking and lacked the expected richness. The naan was also underwhelming—not warm and had a rubbery texture. Unfortunately, the service fell flat as well—I had to wave down the waiter multiple times. This experience made me hesitant about returning, which is a shame because I expected much more.
