However, the service speed left much to be desired, as we had to wait quite a while for our drink refills and our orders. Despite this, I must highlight that the food tasted fresh, and the ingredients used seemed high-quality. I had the California roll and the spicy salmon roll, which were satisfactory enough. For what it’s worth, the atmosphere was cozy, and I do think they have potential for improvement. With a little enhancement on their service, they could easily become a top contender in the area. Their sushi is always made to order, which means it’s as fresh as it could be. I recommend trying the specialty rolls – they tend to blow your mind with flavors! Our waitstaff was very friendly, though I wish they had been a bit more attentive to our needs at times. Just a minor detail, considering the sushi was truly fantastic. " I was so impressed with Mahzu Sushi & Grill! The first thing I noticed was how welcoming the atmosphere was when we entered. The staff greeted us promptly and showed us to our table right away. The sushi was on point; it tasted incredibly fresh and was beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and my expectations were exceeded. We also tried the miso soup, which was delightful. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying their hibachi next time!
