" Rarely does a restaurant give me the feeling of being back in Mexico, but Luz did just that! The atmosphere was laid-back, and the food felt authentic. I had the shrimp enchiladas which were sublime, accompanied by spicy, homemade salsa. Service was friendly but a little slow during peak hours. " We had a mixed experience at Luz. The food, while delicious, didn't match up to some other Mexican restaurants I've been to in larger cities. The margaritas were out of this world, but the tacos had a fair bit of gristle in the meat, which was disappointing. The ambiance is very cozy, though, and the homemade salsa was fantastic.
