" I finally decided to check out Hunan Wok after hearing so many positive things. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was flavorful and truly reminded me of authentic Chinese cuisine. The only downside was the seating area - it felt somewhat cramped and could use a refresh. Regardless, I had a wonderful experience, and the staff was accommodating. " I’ve been hearing a lot about Hunan Wok, so I finally decided to try it. The atmosphere is nothing fancy but that didn’t bother me much. I was excited about their Kung Pao Chicken, however, it just didn’t hit the spot. It was missing the crunch of peanuts and had too much sauce. The fried rice was decent alongside. " I love Hunan Wok! The crab rangoon is to die for! I have ordered multiple times and every time the food arrives hot and delicious. Their sesame chicken is particular is a winner as well. The service has been friendly, but sometimes a little slow, which is understandable during busy times. For me, the quality of the food outweighs these small inconveniences. " Hunan Wok has left me with very positive impressions since my first visit. The flavors represent traditional Chinese cuisine well. I highly enjoyed their wonton soup during my last visit! The only downside is the lack of a proper ambiance which makes it feel more like a fast-food joint rather than a proper sit-down experience. " I first stumbled upon Hunan Wok several years ago, and it has remained my favorite Chinese spot. Their food is down-to-earth, exactly what you hope to find when craving Chinese takeout. The owner is always friendly, making you feel welcome. The only critique I would give is that they can run out of popular dishes during peak times. " Hunan Wok is a mixed bag. One day you might get amazing food and the next, it's just okay.
