I ordered the mixed platter which included the Adana kebab, falafel, and chicken shish kebab. Everything was delectable! The meat was moist, and the flavor profiles were diverse yet harmonious. However, I did find the portion sizes a tad small for the price point. Nevertheless, the heartfelt service made up for it, and I left feeling appreciated as a customer. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping us choose a few dishes to share. We opted for the homestyle cooking vibe with the homemade hummus and warm pita as a starter, followed by an authentic shepherd salad that was fresh and colorful. For our mains, we had the chicken kebab served beautifully alongside rice. Overall, it was cheap enough for what we received, but I’ve had better meals in the same genre. The chicken shawarma sandwiches are my go-to, and they are always packed with flavor. Once I even asked for extra garlic sauce, and they obliged without an extra charge! It's little gestures like that which keep me coming back. The atmosphere is lovely, but can be a bit noisy at times due to the small space. Nonetheless, their authentic dishes are hard to rival. " I decided to take my family to ALEV last night, and I must say that the experience was delightful! We got to try a variety of dishes, including the falafel, baba ghanoush, and a mix grill platter. I can certainly vouch for the authenticity of the flavors; they transported me straight to the Mediterranean. However, I think the prices are slightly on the higher side for the portions. If you're looking for a budget-friendly meal, this may not be the best choice. But if you’re seeking quality Mediterranean cuisine, ALEV definitely hits the mark. The food was not only authentic Mediterranean but also incredibly flavorful. The lentil soup made a great start, and my husband’s falafel was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only downside was the wait for our main courses, as the restaurant was quite busy that evening. However, the staff stayed attentive and even offered us a complimentary dessert as an apology for the delay. The Kunefe was a beautiful conclusion to our meal!
